Whether you can see a reason for a comment or not doesn't mean you have the right or authority to tell someone to STFU. I was stating an opinion in a forum called "General Discussion". You can agree or disagree without bile.

Maybe by stating my concerns, I was hoping to generate a response from an Admin. explaining that they are aware of the issues and are addressing them, as unlikely as that might be. But I knew it was more likely to attract your kind. Incase you missed it, I didn't mention any site or encoder. I'm not trying to get ppl to switch to any other site, I'm still holding out hope for this site. But it is fading...

I think fascist was the correct term for your response to another's opinion on an open "general discussion" page. Deny all you want, the facts speak for themselves.

I almost want to say the troll ran crying back to its bridge. Sadly, I see they were trying to get some points across, but in an emotional, nearly chaotic manner. ~sigh~

I'll add another point to TomMix's lengthy list; admin popped on nine hours ago to say three different requests would be posted soon. I've yet to seen any of them go through the queue or be posted. To me, placating lies are worse than non-communication.

You're definitely right about quality, size, etc, affecting re-encoding time. I forgot to mention, with my example, that mine are typically 1080p x264 to 720p x265.

IMHO I find it difficult to complain about getting something for nothing. I'm grateful for the RMTeam HEVC encodes which (for me) are great viewing in a small filesize.
Long may the site continue and thanks to RMTeam.

I've got to say that I agree more with what you said than disagree.

I have no problem whatsoever with this site and use it all the time. (my go to place for 480P RMTeam TV encodes).

After carefully reading these comments I caught an admission by Vamps that said he was basically bluffing about going to other sites.

The comment basically said he was bluffing Admin with a false threat in order to force Admin to reply with an acknowledgement of any kind that the problems, etc. were being considered and that a fix would looked into.

I have zero respect for liars and bluffers.

Boss, you told the truth. Respect.

@Admin I think you're doing a good job. I would only selfishly ask that you add some fast free file hosts.
Oh wait....we have openload and clicknupload (that are not even owned by RapidMovieZ) so I'm good.

Short answer - Yes

Longer answer -
What I've learned, watching the x265 queue extensively over the last few weeks, is this:
- The item in the number 1 spot is next to be encoded
- TV episode versions, are added to the top of the list, so if five new episode versions are added by the bots, whatever occupied position number 1 is pushed down to number 6.
- During floods of new episode versions, typically Mondays and Thursdays, an item can be pushed so far down the list that it may take hours to reach the top again. Rarely, a TV episode version will simply disappear.
- Movies are added to the bottom of the queue. From the above, you can probably surmise movies take a long time to reach the top and get encoded.
- Movies will often disappear from the queue. New movies are given encoding preference over older movies, so you are more likely to see old movies disappear. For example, the 1080p BluRay version of War for the Planet of the Apes was in the queue for five days, before reaching the top and being encoded. At least half a dozen older movies, in nearby positions in the queue, disappeared during that five days. The same thing happened with the 1080p BluRay version of The Limehouse Golem.

There you have it. Personally, I'm disappointed in the queue management, but still appreciate what I can obtain here (mostly TV shows).

I was quite looking forward to that Rosewater encode, so that's a bit disappointing. It's hard to complain, though, when I get so much from RMZ day after day.

You can encode across multiple computers ie; adobe or apple software, unfortunately with most software this is impossible.
Far better off with a fast cpu with as many cores as possible and lots of ram.
That said ripping from dvd's i use two computers.

Thanks for looking out, mate. :-)
I do have D3FiL3R's release (Scene-RLS being my other go-to site, I think I actually got it from that very RG link). I wanted to get RMZ's encode and compare the two. Alas and alack, however, just 'twasn't meant to be.
And no disrespect to the work of the RARBG folks, but I find that, at about the same file size, I prefer x265 MKVs over x264 MP4s.

REALLY, now we've got some boot licker putting words in my mouth. I NEVER said I was "Bluffing" or that it was a "False Threat". I said I posted my opinion in hopes that it might elicit a response (however unlikely), and the fact that I was considering moving RMZ to a backup position. Which is now a reality, I've started getting my dailies from PSA, with RMZ and Crazy as alternate sources.

If you want to blow Boss, do it private where you won't embarrass yourself.

You want your right to speak in the General Discussions? Fine. But then why try to intimidate others with rude comments so the won't want to say what they have to say especially when they wern't even talking to you?

I still hold out hope that RMZ will address the issue so eloquently listed by TomMix, as I believe this was and could be the best tv encode source on the net. All I did was point out some issues I have with the current site. But I'll put up with PSA's popup's, to get the release consistency and admin. interaction I desire until then.

Let me preface by saying if I were using an Android or Windows product, I wouldn’t be asking this incredibly stupid question. My Windows laptop died so I’m stuck with an iPad. I don’t know what programs to get from where to download and extract files, much less where they’ll end up on this thing.
ANYhelp is appreciated. I’m not exactly thrilled watching things on a SSGNote4.
