Wikipedia is correct because they actually provide explanations for the split seasons.

In the case of S08 clicking on
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Futurama_episodes#Season_8_(2023)
and then
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Futurama_(season_8)

Second paragraph is:
