If you really need part 7 of The Night Of and don't want to wait for a repack version done by RMTeam the mSD encode looks good and only about 40 MB larger than the first RMTeam encode.

Oh, and by the way the playback of mSD encode looks normal not like the screen grab would suggest.

The first BATV is missing last 3 minutes of episode content + end titles. EVO has it all, but there are no Eng subs for that one.
REPACK-BATV 720p hevc would be appreciated.

If you have a bad mkv with good subs and a good mkv with no subs why don't you strip the subs from the first and mux them with the good mkv?

I mean just as a time saver and as a bandwidth saver? I do stuff like that all the time. It's no big deal to work it out yourself if the original upload is flawed.

If you've already downloaded both the batv reencoded by RMTeam with good subs and the EVO version with good video then muxing the good video with the subs would only take about 5 seconds.

forgot to mention I use MKVToolNixGUI for this kind of work.
it's not difficult to learn but some time is involved in learning to do what you need to do. afterwards you can solve problem like this in minutes rather than waiting hours for a reupload etc.

yeah O.K. whatever...I just meant that for whatever reason playback on my PC using MPC software looked like normal 16:9 for a change.

Playback of mSD encodes always look fine on my Smart TV but I do realize not everyone has entered the 21st century (smart t.v. meaning my tv chooses the correct aspect ratio on its own and I don't force it to "original mode" just to frustrate myself).

I just assume most people understand that what is being talked about. if someone has a tube type tv this would not necessarily pertain to them.

since they have old tube type tv's or whatever, they get what they get with out dated equipment, that should be understood.

@No1Cares: It's not about adding subs to the video - BATV subs are out of sync with EVO, so if you add them to EVO mkv, they will be showing at the wrong moments.

Besides, now both EVO subs re-sync and REPACK of BATV are available
