Scene rls is down while rebuilding their webserver. The problem appears temporary.

I agree! Not only are they often much bigger and the quality is degraded from re-encoding a lossy encoded video in another lossy format, they discard the subtitles, which I need.

Please go back to raring Openload uploads!

@tchamast

RAR files are a hassle and not always necessary. For example, S.R. doesn't need them with their x265 openload files, and now most of RMZ's x265 files work the same. Yet some are still being converted to mp4, which is a small issue.

That said, I trust RMZ will do what is best, and if that means no more RAR files, then great.

which is the best for buying a premium account? RapidRar or Uploaded?

Thanks RMZ for effectively posting most of Jessica Jones S03 in 720p/x265/mkv on openload without RAR files.

FYI: ep5 was D.O.A. and ep7 got converted to AVC/mp4.

As tchamast and others have pointed out, some x265/mkv files with openload are still mistakingly getting converted to AVC/mp4.

I hope you find a remedy for this, otherwise going back to RAR files may be preferable?

@Beau,
I won't tell you which is best, but look near the top of every page and you'll see this CROSSED OUT:
We'll stop uploading files to Uploaded.net in December 2017.

If that doesn't stand as a warning I don't know what would.
Uploaded is constantly causing the bots problems, accounts suspended, etc.

btw, and others should weigh in, there are multi-site memberships worth looking into.

@Beau Admin forewarned users to not use Uploaded, and to let their accounts expire if need be. Admin gave them much time to do so, but alas when that time came for RMZ to end Uploaded, many daft users here still had Uploaded accounts and demanded RMZ to keep using it.. Yet it seems that Uploaded has gotten better, but IDK.

Some user here (meridian?) said RapidRar was owned by RMZ, but IDK.

That said, ditto what Raada said.

@Raada I'm curious, do you know if SR ever gave a clear reason why they stopped using openload?

I know about the loss of payouts issue, but ARi0 keeps saying they are never in it for the money, yet that may be propaganda.

@Beau What about NitroFlare?

Both RMZ and SR use that a lot, as well as other popular sites.

Anyone here have experience with NitroFlare?

Giving the rapidrar premium account a try. So far so good.

@blahaha,
Yes, OL reduced the payout for downloads. File hosting sites share page-click and ad revenue with the uploaders (without which there wouldn't be any reason to go there).
The OL issue isn't unique, either. Many sites have changed their revenue plan and blacklisted some sites that have too many DMCA complaints. Some file hosts disappear altogether. This causes overloads on other sites which in turn causes more changes. We saw an overload example a few weekends ago.
btw, bots do 99% of the work here. Any time they try to upload a file to a site and it fails, the bot just moves on. Only RR gets special treatment, retries, re-ups, etc.

@Raada

Yup, I already knew about that. Regardless, it's not always about money, but I reckon it is with these non-scene sites, as someone has to pay to keep the lights on.

Also, for whatever reason, RMZ is still using openload, which is good as that's the main reason I come here.

That said, I see that all of RMZs Jessica Jones S03 in 720p/x265/mkv got uploaded to some DDL sites (AKA "open directories";) within a day after they where posted here.

Those DDL sites have no ads and control their own file servers, so I guess it's not always about the money, at least in any familiar ways I know of.

Would really like to support RapidMoviez by subscribing to RapidRAR (and I have in the past), but after renewing my RapidRAR account recently, RapidRAR just banned it. Lost my files, lost access totally. No explanation. I sent a message, and got some bullshit response about my sharing the account (which I've NOT done, ever!). I asked for the IP of the supposed person(s) that are accessing my account and...was ignored. I only did business with you to support RapidMoviez. There's only about 20,000 other places I can get what I'm looking for.

So, enjoy my money that I got shit for RapidRAR. Fuck you sideways, you lying, thieving pieces of shit! Don't give those fuckers a dime...they'll just take your money and make up some crap to ban your account. Great business model, fucktards!

You don't have to stop using openload. It still works at http://openload.pw/
