The Doors will always be the best band of the 60's for me as well. I was just thinking of those first rock bands (circa 1964): The Who, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and The Birds.

What I mean by The Web with my doom talk, is mainly with commerce, banking and such. It's clearly flawed and near broken now IMO. Also, the WWW never reached the whole world, and much of it is banned now in some counties. I think we are past the peak of the WWW being the success it once was.

Nirvana is a thing, but not what most think I guess.

It is the farthest we can go, but that's about it. I simultaneously cried and laughed when I got there. It's somewhat of a cosmic joke of sorts.

It's like when a rat climbs to the top of his cage.. that's pretty much Nirvana. For us, it involves leaving your body, going past light speed into infinity, snapping your connection, and slamming into the great cosmic wall. When you hit the wall you understand and feel it as you fall back into your cage. At least that's what I and others have experienced.

If you can meditate on a proper amount/mix of MDMA, LSD, and cocaine, and get passed all the shit, beyond beyond, then you might reach Nirvana, or go crazy, ha.

Also, you first need to learn how to fall asleep on cocaine, without the help of any other drugs. This takes extreme meditation and mental skill.

Then there's the ultimate inner journey, but that's another story.

That said, I'd rather play video games than take drugs and/or reach Nirvana and/or such.. Timothy Leary predicted as much with computers vs drugs. Hmm.
