Pleasures of the flesh..

Nope. I get no thrill from that, well done though.

When I find the YT channel I'll turn you on to this Japanese music video art stuff. It's original and new, very dark and weird. The dude who runs it makes the videos.

I think it's better to drink and be merry than to think and be scary.

I need to get drunk, ha.

AREA - Fragments of the Morning

Somethings always happening up in the sky.
Like the careful rearangment of ray of light thrown out.
To split the the kitchen into fragments and down the morning.
Hard words chase you out or else caught in my throught won't go down.

Doesn't all that listening give you anything?

Okay, so I guess I made a mistake or two.
Guess I expected the exciment would cover up some of my lies.
Still I'd rather make it up than have to remember.
They way the roar of voices rolling down the hall has shut your eyes.

Doesn't all that listening give you anything?

Someone's always missing from the picture,
of a perfect scene we're all headed for some day.
It's a towering sky and I can't here you singing.
Fragments from the morning light apparently got in the way.

Doesn't all that listening give you anything?

Wonder what's been happening up in the sky.
Like the careful rearangment of ray of light thrown out.
To split the the kitchen into fragments and down the morning.

Oops.. This is correct:

AREA - Fragments of the Morning

Something's always happening up in the sky.
Like the careful rearrangement of ray of light thrown out.
To split the kitchen into fragments and down the morning.
Hard words chase you out or else caught in my throat won't go down.

They way the roar of voices rolling down the hall has shut your eyes.

Doesn't all that listening give you anything?

Someone's always missing from the picture,
of a perfect scene we're all headed for some day.
Well it's a towering sky and I can't here you singing.
Fragments from the morning light apparently got in the way.

Doesn't all that listening give you anything?

Wonder what's been happening up in the sky.

There was no lyrics for this on the web, so there you go. If there's still some mistakes, screw it, good enough, ha.

Also, it's probably:

Like the careful rearrangement of a ray of light thrown out.

Yet I hear her say:

Like the careful rearrangement of ray of light thrown out.

It's a poem, so whatever.

With your suspected OCD, understand that such quirky behaviors are likely mutations that help the survival of our species, such as with random behavior that happens to thwart a disease.

I don't mind folks with OCD, as long as they are honest about it and they NEVER fuss with my stuff/space.

I knew this girl who had extreme OCD and she was a hoarder. She would do whatever she could to fill spaces with her shit, even in other people's homes. She would lie and say stuff like:

Can I keep some stuff at your place for a day or two? I just need my car empty right now as I'm helping someone move.

Yet come to find out, that someone is just her and her shit, and she has no plans to more it elsewhere later. To get it moved, you have to take legal action or put it out on the street, which isn't legal.

She does this to everyone she knows and she has TONS OF SHIT.

As for the OCD, she organizes everything in boxes, within boxes, within boxes, and she can never find anything. She will spend hours looking for a blue toothpick, just because. Personally, I suspect she's a crazy tweaker, or worse. Regardless, her family no longer talks to her and any so-called friends she has are new ones that she will eventually victimize.

Also, I had a house mate who had some OCD. It never bothered me, and he liked to clean everything, so kudos to that, ha. But if I ever pointed out something quirky he did and asked him why he did that, he would never admit it was OCD. Rather he would get mad and talk crazy talk. As such, I would troll him for fun... mad bro? Ha.. I would kindly tell him, so you have some OCD, just say so and move on, I don't care. But he still had issues in admitting that, ha. Yup, he was a snob, ha.

Also, we all have patterns in the way we do things. For example, when I'm done with a task, I will often say DONE!. Yet with some so-called OCD folks, after a task is clearly done, they still go through some superfluous ritual involving touching things, counting it all or such.

You know the gig.. Beyond that, I think OCD is related to phobia, religion and superstition, but that's another topic.

Also, I imagine that some OCD rituals could help with memory in some way. Hmm.

OMG, I just remembered another thing that crazy girl did! She would always try to touch everyone's food. She was sly about it, but that was clearly her crazy goal.

You could be eating a taco, and she would point at it and ask, Where did you get that? ..as she touched it.. She would never admit it, and just say she only pointed at it. She pissed off a lot of people with that.

Anybody miss having NFOs in the body of the releases along with a screenshot? I do. So many don't have them anymore. I found the NFO more useful than the screenshot most of the time. Especially when there is an issue with the release.

@ThunderKiss65

NFOs are usually in the original releases but lately only some of them have them. For instance Stargate Origins, non of the original releases have them. RMteam never includes the NFOs on the release page but sometimes they will have one in the RAR files.

Thank you for the info on the AJP69 releases. I too went to other sources looking for the NFOs and decided to go with the BTN releases.

Yup, I knew of Q4OS with the XP skin pack. At the time I didn't use as I wasn't sure if it would be supported later. I now see it still is. Thanks for the reminder.

I also like male/female vocals, such as with X and Sonic Youth. Too bad there isn't more. Overall, I like female vocals.

I always liked The Offspring. They pretty much optimize where I was back then in that scene. Also from the '90s, Radiohead, Garbage, The Cranberries, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Jane's Addiction, Pearl Jam, Everclear, Nine Inch Nails, Soundgarden, Matthew Sweet, Pennywise, and much more.. In the '90s I didn't have to look too far to find music I liked. Likewise, there was a lot of great '90s music (IMO) from the UK I didn't even mention. But we all know about all that stuff.

As it is though, I don't listen to much well known '90s music anymore.

As for horror movies, when I was much younger, there was some movies that freaked me out. Here's some of my horror related faves of movies that did freak me out to some degree, in no particular order. Note that some of these I watched when I was just a kid:

Videodrome (1983)
Night of the Living Dead (1968)
Phantasm (1979)
Jacob's Ladder (1990)
Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978)
Aliens (1986)
Re-Animator (1985)
Halloween (1978)
The Thing (1982)
Angel Heart (1982)
The Dead Zone (1983)
Communion (1989)
From Beyond (1986)
Society (1989)
The Fly (1986)
The Devil's Advocate (1997)
The Wicker Man (1973)
28 Days Later (2002)
The Evil Dead (1981)
Train to Busan (2016)
The Babadook (2014)

Honorable mention:
Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988)

I didn't like these (yawn):

The Exorcist (1973), The Shining (1980), The Omen (1976), Psycho (1960), Rosemary's Baby (1968), A Nightmare on Elm Street (series), Hellraiser (series), Friday the 13th (series), Carrie (1976), and many others.

I will check out Carnival of Souls (1962), thanks.

I might watch some highlights of the Olympics, if I run out of other things to watch. Looks like the Russians are hacking the Olympics. Oh well.. No surprise there.

__

I sometimes mix tea with coffee. I'm into instant coffee now, just in the morning.

For breakfast, I often eat just a handful of almonds and a banana. I don't fuss much with cooking, and I eat raw veggies. I avoid bread, pasta and rice (peasant food, ha). I don't drink milk, but some cheese and yogurt. I'm not a big meat eater and prefer fish (sardines, tuna, salmon) and eggs.

I avoid sugar and salt. I snack on nuts, fruit, raisins, and pop corn.

I also take some supplements, nothing crazy.

I remember you said you don't eat meat?.. If so, great! More for me, ha.

As for the whole environmental thing about not eating meat.. Here's a MUCH better idea: STOP BREEDING SO MUCH.
__

Elysian Fields.. Hmm, almost, but no cigar. That doesn't sound genuine to me.

Some artists make music because they are artists. Yet many folks make music just for fame and/or money. Now, I can't tell what is what, but I think I know what it is.. ha.

Hmm, so it sounds like you're in denial about your OCD.

When you're ready to seek help, just ask me. I'm a quasi-certified parapsychophytologist.
