As we all know sound is 80-90% of the file size, downsizing it make a huge difference in file sizes.
This is not the place for the best quality sound, i would suggest you find the original releases from quality rippers like KILLERS, DIMENSION, FGT & AFG and some new rippers are good as well.

I blame Admin for this and here's why...

Certain anime watching idiots have been posting on almost every anime upload that the audio is set too high at 128 demanding that the audio be adjusted to 64 to improve the video.

Now that Admin has caved into the demands of the anime watching idiots the sound for most shows (not anime) is crap.

I said I blame Admin for this and by that I mean I blame them for giving in to the idiots that complain about large file sizes and what they think is the wrong audio bitrate without regards to the rest of us who appreciate good video with good audio regardless of the overall bitrate or larger file size.

Admin needs to go back to doing 480P encodes like they used to. Back to when they were doing it right.

If we were to take a vote...well, I never watch anime so I'd vote for better audio and ask that no anime be uploaded on this site.

Sounds like a fair solution to me.

As I've said before I'm not the biggest spidapig fan, but it's nothing personal. It's not because of his low I.Q. or his sexual orientation, but the way he is consistently wrong in what he posts as fact

He says audio is 80~90% of the file size.

Here is the breakdown of the last file I downloaded:

preacher.s01e04.480p.web.dl.x264

Total file size: 171 Mb

Video file size: 140 Mb @ 462 kbps

Audio file size: 30 Mb @ 64 kbps

If the audio was doubled to 60 Mb @ 128 kbps the overall file size would only be 201 MB which is roughly the file size I remember downloading without any problems a few months to a year ago.

spidapig also says Rapidmoviez is not a place to find quality encodes. I disagree.

Rapidmoviez has always been the best place to find quality encodes on more uploads for more shows than any other place on the net. Period.

Admin, please make an official page for "Made by Destruction", given that it's an actual ongoing series. It's much more difficult to find all the releases for something when it has no central location on the site. Thanks in advance.

Admin, I think your RMTeam 480p re-encode process (which I assume is almost completely automated) missed a couple of releases from last night. It's been more than 12 hours and neither of these releases got the RMTeam 480p treatment like I was expecting:

How It's Made S27E06

and:

Made by Destruction S01E05

For that second series, S01E06 *did* get an RMTeam re-encode but not S01E05. Both episodes aired back-to-back last night and there are full 720p releases of both.

If you could please manually resubmit the two source releases (all of which were from the DHD group) to the re-encoding queue, it would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

@Admin, Your work is awesome is this is the one of the premiere sites for excellent encodes. Lately, it seems that there are only 1080p HDTV encodes for shows that usually have 1080p WEB-DL. Are 1080p HDTV encodes replacing 1080p WEB-DL? Are you switching to 1080p HDTV encodes only? Do not mind waiting for the 1080p WEB-DLs but wanted to make sure they will be available.

@Admin Please help me, I'm not able to download files from RapidRar cuz its blocked in india and SSL version is not loading properly and i'm not able to click on free download button. P.s. its ssl version was loading properly a few weeks ago, but now its not plz fix this admin

@no1cares&bastard; I have to admit, When I noticed bastard had been spawned, I think last week I spat my coffee over the screen laughing. I just hope I didn't leave cyber DNA to blend with me (not logged in), between us, I think we write the longest posts ever, If we were to spawn offspring, can you imagine - it would be a lord of the rings epic novel length each post
Also I have often wondered if the right area had a scroll button, so you could see the previous comments, how long the repeats would go on for before you hit someone chatting, or asking for help, as bastard says, most times when I pop on it's just 'thanks' - Which is great and all that they appreciate stuff, but not as productive in helping others select the copy they may need as rarely a mention of quality or if the movie/show is any good. props to thaone though, shaking it up a bit with txs and awesome over the past week, maybe they're just shy.
I feel like I haven't spoken to anyone here in weeks, b.c I just haven't seen them, I know there is this area, but I just glance at the right column and leave if I don't see my release yet.
Idk, maybe I'm just jealous, they have a better data provider than me, and can get more than 2-3 shows a week .... yes I am jealous

HumptyDumpty, it seems like the scene failed to cap this week's Major Crimes during its initial broadcast. "Official" indexing sites have no record of it at all. Furthermore, the show isn't getting a same-night repeat this season like it always has in the past. This season the repeat airs on Wednesday nights, so hopefully the scene will get a second chance at it. Surely some WEB-DLs will show up sooner or later, too. Just wait a bit more and you'll get what you want.

A couple of non-scene copies are currently available at torrent sites and in at least one Usenet newsgroup, if you're able and/or willing to use those sources.

I recognise your name though, and without trying to be an ass, anyone could grab the avatar and say they are xxx, considering the poop tornado of events he may be reluctant to respond if he did happen to see it. it's all open forum here, so it's going to be hard for either of you to say anything.

I guess your best bet would be to ask every so often, as posts vanish quickly from the on screen area you can see at a glance. If he happens to see it then he may respond idk, or try somewhere else he used that has inbox type messaging in addition to a forum shoutout.
