@Oscar2
I should disagree with you on two counts.
1. Sexual orientation of humans is primarily dictated by genetics and not psychology. Homos are victims of their own genes and are genetically programmed to avoid opposite sex and their sexual orientation isn't something they have control over just like absolute majority of straight people.

2. 70+ years of misery of Palestinians has nothing to do with Shia-Sunni minor division. The fact is the countries and groups/parties actively promoting and defending Palestinian cause i.e. Iran, Hezbollah, Yemen's Houthis and Iraqi groups (collectively called Axis of Resistance) are all Shia while Palestine is a Sunni Muslim country.
This decades-long crisis is all about US/EU blindly and unconditionally supporting Zionist regime of Israel and also inability of corrupt Arab leaders to meaningfully oppose Israeli occupation.
Zionists have a grip on US politics through lobbies like AIPAC which spends hundreds of millions of dollars every year to fund election campaigns of candidates of both parties. And in return these politicians have a competition to please Zionist Israel. At the same time, Israeli regime serves American interests in the region by actively spying, sabotaging and assassinating against US adversaries in the geostrategically important Middle East.

"I should disagree with you....." It's not me, it's based on evidence that can be easily found. If you have scientific evidence to support your conclusions, I would be interested in seeing it.

*** As I stated before, after 35+ years of worldwide scientific research, no genetic causes (or reasons) have been identified to explain their condition & behaviour.***

They have a psychological condition (mentall illness), which is the only possible conclusion left. Their psychologies (illnesses) override normal human genetic programming resulting in abnormal sexual orientation. They are aware of this on some level but want to force us to accept their condition as being normal. Why else do you think that in many Homosexual relationships, one partner acts more "Manly" & the other acts more "Womanly" ? Because they sense what normality should be, and want to emulate it. Why else do you think, for example, on TV shows (comedians, singing, cooking etc) the gay man is either very obviously visually gay, or will quickly tell us that he's gay, and will mostly talk about his gayness at every opportunity? Because it is part of their psychological condition, their mental illness. Genetic abnormalities do not explain such behaviours.

Their psychologies vary widely, explaining the many varied conditions i.e., L G B T Q I +++. If there was a genetic cause, then these conditions should be seen in nature on a very noticeable scale, but it does not exist. The few examples provided as proof over the years are an Anthropomorphism, humans unjustly projecting ourselves onto nature.

As mentioned above, "Worldwide statistics show that LGBTQI+ people have the highest mental health problems per capita, even when compared to ANY other group of people....."

It's not a question of controlling themselves. Most people cannot control a severe mental illness but ARE aware that "something is not right with me".
They need psychological intervention & help, not societies current enabling & encouragement.

If you look at it through the 'lens' of psychology for a while, it will all fall into place & make sense.

.......................................................................................

Hammas and Hezbollah are both backed by Iran which is Shiah & which Saudi et al doesn't like.
Sunni is the largest branch of Islam, followed by 85–90% of the world's Muslims, and simultaneously the largest religious denomination in the world. So, again, why didn't they help the Palestinians?

"70+ years of misery of Palestinians has nothing to do with Shia-Sunni minor division."

What assistance did they get in that time? From whom?

Splitting a religion is never a "minor division". Despite their differences, Sunni and Shiah have lived alongside each other in relative peace for most of their 1400 year history. But starting in the late 20th century, the schism deepened, exploding into violence in many parts of the Middle East as extreme brands of Sunni and Shiah Islam battle for both religious and political supremacy, including Saudi & Iran.

I looked too. Pluto TV (free) airs Hallmark movies, which you can record. But, as Oscar says these are very recent, so no good now right away.

If you are interested, as an addendum to my previous post, I could directly reference The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM; latest edition: DSM-5-TR, published in March 2022, published by the American Psychiatric Association (APA)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diagnostic_and_Statistical_Manual

as well as the World Health Organization (WHO) International Classification of Diseases diagnostic manual ICD-11

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICD-11

regarding the classifications of the previously mentioned disorders, and relevant historical changes & the reason behind it.

It's all "in plain sight" really, but just seems to be blatantly ignored or avoided.

Note: not positing opinions about anything other than the book itself (DSM) It should come with "Caveat Emptor". It is but a consensus of opinions between men, at a given time. My studies had me learn and use this book ad nauseam, and there are great disagreements about its (lack of) reliability and validity.

The reason for its existence (for diagnoses, period) is so information could quickly be exchanged between health professionals i.e. "labeling" the patient saves time in the system. A lot of professionals, me included, don't think it makes the job easier at all (not better, for sure!) snce once label is given, transmitting it leaves all the important stuff OUT; thus, to do the job right, you have to backtrack anyways!

And when you backtrack, under many "labels" (diagnosis) the lists of symptoms are quasi interchangeable with those of multiple labels, and since the patient ONLY has to present with SOME of them (e.g. 4/7) to meet the criteria for those diagnoses, you end up with GUESSING!!! And the result of the guesswork of one swiftly transmitted down the line (e.g. to treatment team and pharmacologist) with sometimes disastrous results, especially of said patient moves and the info is taken over by yet more people basing everything on a LABEL.

Hence for decades now, there dissent about using the DSM as standard, and other tools are being presented. The main symptoms and their severity being what's to really be addressed, "What's In a Name"? Not much. We need shorthand that is not so, well, not SO short. The DSM is then for making the Pros life easier, NOT the patients, and its content, debatable. At best, It's like Horoscope.

This being said, it has very little bearing on your discussions, and don't say it does, I just, as a professional, feel I have to warn whenever I can about the pitfalls of the Diagnostic Manual. Mental illnesses are NOT real discreet categories (and subject to change with each re-iteration of the book), unlike domain/genus/species of animals or chemicals (or even biological illnesses), and can't be classified into a neat table. Am sorry to have taken your time, it's just one of those things... We all have a things that sets us off, DSM is one of those for me. I'm not saying its TOTALLY useless; I just wish it was not still the gold standard n my profession(s) (I'm both intervention AND research).

Sorry for the length and Good night guys!
